Hiya I need to leave my van for a while tomorrow at York Station, as I'm on a ballast, can any York drivers advise me via private message if there is anywhere to park for staff at the station for free please
Many thanks
Having spotters take unwanted photos or getting too close to the cab when stopped ar platforms. Really do not like it. I get they're taking photos of engines but I dislike photos with me in them
Because freight drivers work more hours, have less sleep and no personal needs breaks. Also we run at cautionary aspects whereas hsts etc rarely see a red
I had another medical 2 week ago recently started back on anti depressants had to obtain a GP report to say I'm not suicidal and how I cope with side effects before a pass was issued
Yes read below haha perfect answer. Heavy haul more variety I'd say on routes aswell but you don't know what your doing really from week to week
Alot of ballast turns aswell lad I work with just left heavy haul
Oh no totally agree, I'd do anything for a 13 week roster and not a weekly flex roster that I have at my FOC. I think if FL-IM paid what gbrf or colas do and kept there terms and conditions then a lot of passenger men would jump ship
Drivers I use to load loved it. Step on step off no going in-between. Draw train in shunter jumps on take it to end if terminal. Maybe one or 2 shunts then hook off and go home maybe take it to midland Road or whatever Diagram says. Terms and conditions are great from what I got told worth the...
I think its a 40 hour week at railport and it's a difference in pay due to railport being different to a terminal at the terminal you have more traffic (workload) and you also operate overhead gantry cranes
Its about 4 or 5 quid per hour pay difference
