    Unfortunately not. I thought the situation was dead in the water back last year. Got contacted to have a second dmi interview in January and it’s moved quickly since then. They said they couldn’t understand why I’d been left for so long.

    I received the email. I had a DMI back in October 2018 and was placed in a talent pool waiting for a position. I emailed back saying I was happy resit the DMI if necessary but haven’t heard anything since. Sent a couple of follow up emails as well but still no reply.

    I contacted recruitment, as I also applied but haven’t heard anything, and they said keep an eye on your emails because you will hear either way. They replied within 10 minutes which I was impressed with as most companies never even respond.

    Personally, I drove from Birmingham up to Crewe the night before and spent the night. Wanted to make sure I was as fresh as possible and wouldn’t be late.

    I’ve been there since November for Birmingham / Crewe / Bedford / Sandiacre. It’s a tough wait. Think the Mendip contract has impacted on others starting their training.

    I can understand your point of view but personally I am happy to help give any advice to someone who asks for it. I know it has helped me a great deal and not, as far as I’m aware, put the person who gave it at a disadvantage.

I believe stage two for EMT is group/team working activities and also some quick interview questions with staff. ‘Stage Two’ tests which are all on the computer and the MMI are stage four with EMT. I would say I found the stage one tests more difficult but practice, preparation...
