Commuting to and from Cardiff Central is congested and fraught at the best of times - I’d be furious if I couldn’t board because a bunch of spotters are clogging up the train.

Sounds like there were several 150s on Manchester - South Wales yesterday. A rare treat of a 158 on my Carmarthen - Manchester train this morning.

This morning I’ve seen 2 153s run I h the Ebbw Vale service from Bridgend (one of them the new FGW liveried one) and the new TFW liveried 153 doing Cardiff Bay shuttle.

Saw the FGW liveried one working out of Cardiff just now. It has FGW livery but TfW full branding, including the ‘T’.

I’d say the gold star was for me just being correct all along. Well it works for me, kid. Suggest you get a better system if it doesn’t work for you.

Well aware that there are 5 coming over. It referenced one spare and three going into service. If you want the twitter post; you know where their account is!

TFW now telling twitter customers that from 19th only additional stock will be 3 x 153s with possible further additions in June.

TfW still telling twitter followers that plenty of new trains will be in service for the timetable change...
