The works at Leeds were fairly substantial if not wholesale redesign.. the northern bottleneck across viaduct is long standing of course.. looking South though I do wonder with so many routes how train flow isn't better... another line coming in from South in form of HS2 will add some complexity...

Not really sure that the interiors are an upgrade at all - they need work - i actually like travelling on the 508s after they became my local services a few years ago, they are remarkably good, quick and usually on time - the replacements need to be Great!
