The 350/2 are being converted to 110mph running starting this week. Doubt they are being replaced with 319’s, only a handful of drivers sign them at Bly.

London Midland Trainee Drivers @ Bletchley

I'm in the middle of my driving hours at Bletchley. We did all our training at Bletchley but I believe the group that started last week are at Northampton which is better as you would be classed as a Bletchley driver so would be able to claim overtime for traveling! I believe LM are looking...

    Class 350 questions

If the rear unit is still in the neutral section then it's VCB will be closed. You can run 2 350's on one pan but 110v cross feed would have to be in place first, generally only used in times of assistance.

    Bletchley Derailment

The starting signal on the up slow has a theatre box with "F" rather than a feather board for the move over to the up fast. It's possible the theatre box could of failed or the driver was unsighted, could explan the speed the loco was going????

    Class 350 guards.

As a Bletchley guard I find some of this thread quite Offensive. How would you feel if someone who doesn't work in the same industry as you made comments about your skills and ability in your role on a public forum. I also find it shocking that in these times of high unemployment some people...

LM Crewe - Euston now /2 operation

UDS = unit de-select ie all the doors on the rear unit are locked until the system is switched off. Also when the system is on the conductor has to be in the leading cab of the rear 4 cars so will not be able to see anyone walk up the train. As there are a few station on the way to Crewe...

LM Crewe - Euston now /2 operation

350's don't have SDO, instead they have UDS which is a big difference! Picture a 8 car train stopping at Stone and only the front 4 cars are opened. Now picture the family with bags trying walk from the rear 4 cars before the train leaves the platform..... I've worked some 8 cars into Wembley...
