Birmingham on course to Host 2022 Commonwealth Games

Very few events are scheduled for Birmingham city centre so far. Not sure what sports but they will be in the Barclaycard Arena and the Symphony Hall. Athletics are at the Alexander Arena (nearest station Perry Barr). Netball at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry. Bowls (I think I herard on the...

More than half in UK are non-religious, suggests survey - what about you?

If you don't want to be ambiguous then you can refer to 'one god' or 'the only god'. Would you use 'Allah' or 'Aten' to convey the same idea? Would such a use imply a leaning towards the associated religion?

More than half in UK are non-religious, suggests survey - what about you?

If you made that suggestion I would point out that not all atheists believe that there is no god. Many simply state that they do not believe that there is a god. There is a difference in those two statements.

More than half in UK are non-religious, suggests survey - what about you?

Based on the survey, I think that it assumes you are religious if you define yourself as having/following a religion. It does not state recognised or organised religion. There are religions that do not require belief in any god, and it is possible to believe that there is or was some sort of...

And it seems that the influence is dwindling. I don't see that as a bad thing.

Since the clue mentioned describing briefly S 'n' S could be short for sticky and slimy. (It could describe some stains as well.) It appeared to fit the clue rather well with the sole drawback of being entirely wrong. However, since the floor is open: What was left of Theresa May when the...

Clues can be difficult while not being unfair. The two are not incompatible. Once an answer is revealed, the reaction should be "oh, I never thought of that," not "that clue cannot be read so as to point to that answer." Unusual clue types do exist but they have explanatory text to indicate...
