Hi. Does anyone know where I could get a t key holder? I never got one when I started and apparently they ran out before I started and have never got any more.

I think roughly a month between applying to having an interview then another 7 months before being offered the job. I was contacted a few weeks after the interview to inform me I had been successful and would be held on in a reserve pool for 6 months.

From my experience they tend to advertise jobs to have a holding list of candidates for when jobs do come up. I applied and interviewed last year and only started a couple of months ago.

They are probably waiting on an available slot being available as I know they had a lot of applications in for driver positions and also heard the Gateline are short staffed so will likely be training them first as well. Patience is the best thing I can advise unfortunately.

Hi Im happy to say I have been offered a ticket examiner position with Scotrail. Could anyone share some tips and advice you think might be helpful? Even just general info such as shift patterns, staff benefits etc

The ticket examiner role is very customer service based for the application process so you might still hear from them

What kind of work do you do at the moment if you dont mind me asking? As a lot of it is about transferable skills you can take into the role.

I applied for one with the same closing date and have completed an online assessment around a week ago.

I cant see why it would be a problem. You are best to cover all avenues and if anything it should make you look keen to join the company.

How do you check your application status? I know it sounds stupid.
