Will GBRF still use the yard in Totton as most of there locos are based in Eastleigh ????

I can remember 56s working the Eling Wharf branch, I used to go down in the summer hols (81-84) to help the Shunter shut the gates when the stone use to go in & out, highlight of my hols :D , also remember a few time's in 86-87 a rare sight of Whistlers (40s) doing drops of coal to Totton Yard...

Has the movements for D&Cr at Totton Yard stopped for the time being as the Railvac is now sat at Eastleigh & the waggons up at Chaddesden, there are no timed movements on Realtime either ????

Have noticed in the last couple of weeks that the entrance in to the Eastern Docks opposite the terminus they look like they could be doubling the tracks, the new track they have laid has a buffer near the entrance gates & whether at some point they may go be on this point & across the road...

There was a post last week about 31s being in Eastleigh which I answered to saying that 31-190 & 31-452 along with the Railvac & wagons was in Totton Yard & has been on & off for the last 10 days. Is this going to be an on-going thing as I see there is a healthy stock of fresh ballast in Totton...

31190 & 31452 + the RailVac have been in Totton Sidings since Monday night, lots of movment everyday down there, starting to load ballast into wagons daily & a track tamper there, that & the 6 coaches already parked up is making Totton Yard busy :D

Sorry to say I missed it by I think 10-15mins going through Ashurst (New Forest),I thought the return trip was going via Dorchester South-Yoevil but see "Dorsetman" said it was in P1 at Southampton Central at 17.09 ?, did they re-route ?
