    Kings Cross/St Pancras ticket barriers

Thanks! And the St Pancras barriers would also be fine on the return?

    Kings Cross/St Pancras ticket barriers

A friend of mine is travelling from St Neots to Cricklewood on Sunday. Because there are no direct trains from St Neots to St Pancras that day, she'll need to get a train to Kings Cross then walk to St Pancras. Can she still get a St Neots to Cricklewood ticket or would the ticket barrier at...

    Contactless to Luton Airport Parkway

Hi, was just wondering whether contactless travel from St Pancras to Luton Airport Parkway is permitted on EMR, and, if so, what the fee would be?

    Class 319's into storage/withdrawals tracker

Not at the moment, but there are a few still in storage that are essentially unusable as a result of never having received PRM modifications that will probably be scrapped eventually.

    Class 319's into storage/withdrawals tracker

Mathematically, 446 should be one of the TfW /4s, given that it's one of the only three PRM compliant ones still at a loose end. It would also explain why it hasn't gone back to Long Marston instead - possibly at Wolverton for the conversion work.

    Class 319's into storage/withdrawals tracker

True lol. It wasn't too crowded as it was going into London rather than going out of London, but it was heaving when it left Euston for its return to Milton Keynes.

    Class 319's into storage/withdrawals tracker

Even with all the extra 319s LNWR have taken on, there's still short forming. I had 319220 on its own on one of the evening Tring - Euston stoppers earlier.

    Class 319's into storage/withdrawals tracker

Still gathering dust at Long Marston, I assume.

    Transport for Wales 769's

Yes, it's safe to say progress has been slow with the 769s to say the least. It's got to the point where some people are calling for the project to be cancelled, but I'm really hoping that doesn't happen, as 319s were my favourite EMU back in the day when they were on Thameslink.

    Transport for Wales 769's

As far as I know, that's only TfW's second, 002 being the first. That makes four in total, to my knowledge, with 434 and 456 completed for Northern ages ago. Haven't had any updates on their other six for a while, though, so that number may be greater by now. The HydroFlex project was recently...

769008 has been delivered to Cardiff Canton.

    Class 319's into storage/withdrawals tracker

Also are TfW ever going to bother letting us know which /4s they're taking on? They announced 426 would be one of them a while back, but nothing since. Although I assume the other three will be 421, 444 (the only two PRM compliant /4s that are unaccounted for) and 446 (the only other PRM...

    Class 319's into storage/withdrawals tracker

Yeah, all of that lot are PRM incompliant. Shame that 319001 and 319009 in particular (for obvious reasons) won't be seeing passenger service again, although at least 319001 gets to be part of the HydroFlex project. The exception is 319428. Why's that one being kept back? It is one earmarked for...

    Great Northern 313 Withdrawals

I'd imagine they'll just get the standard railtour and maybe a plaque on the very last service - that's all GTR gave their cousins, the Class 319s, when they were all withdrawn from Thameslink a couple of years ago.

    Class 319's into storage/withdrawals tracker

It's been back in service since at least March.

    Class 319's into storage/withdrawals tracker

Half correct, it was there for new bogies and wheelsets. Doubt it'll be getting LNWR branding, they didn't bother giving any to the handful of other ex-Thameslink 319s they took on.

    Class 319's into storage/withdrawals tracker

Just heard that the HydroFlex demonstrator being converted from 319001 will be known as 799001 instead of 769001.

    Overground Class 317 question

I'll be travelling on the Chingford line later this month and would prefer to take a 317 over a 315 - could anyone let me know what the chances are of catching one on there? Many thanks in advance!
