I have friends visiting the Glenfinnan area and I wondered if anyone can tell me the locos working the train today. I have failed miserably to find any information myself.

It is understood that the ECML is closed between Peterborough and Doncaster on Tuesday 16th and Wednesday 17th May and all trains will be diverted via the Joint Line.
Does anyone know the reason for these weekday diversions please ?
Hearing rumours of a steam loco stopping at Spalding to pick up water on Monday 4th October. This is supported by RTT which shows a train booked to stop at SPA between 11:39 and 12:09.
Anyone have any info to which loco this is please.
