A good example of the benefit of having a main line connection. The Mid Norfolk Railway were able to offer last minute overnight stabling for this 6Z68 working on 3rd August. The text attached to the video explains why.

Not sure if this has already been noted on this thread but I understand the Mid Norfolk have purchased a number of the Greater Anglia Mark 3s that were stored on their line. Do not know their numbers but seems to make sense as they will have had no transport costs to pay as they were already...

745 106 made it as far as north as Dereham for a two week storage. Virtually every spare piece of track on the Mid Norfolk Railway is now being used for storing the 745s and 755s. It left today for Crown Point I believe. (Photo courtesy of the MNR)

Interestingly a lot of that video was filmed at County School on the Mid Norfolk Railway. So who knows, one day they may be going through that procedure all over again!
