What did your driving test involve?

Passed mine first time, our nearest test centre was Widnes and there was a 9 month waiting list so the instructor gave me the form on my first lesson. Had to fill it in and send through the post with a cheque or postal order. I still remember my legs were shaking so much I could barely use the...

    Oddities of the English language?

If geese is the plural of goose shouldn't a single sheep be a shoop? Waiting for or waiting on a bus? When people say they are waiting on a bus I always picture them sitting on top of it.

    Angry Passenger Demands

I've been carried past my stop a couple of times. I usually put it down to the fact I stay seated until it stops so maybe the driver thinks it was a mistake. Only once have I had to ask them to stop as they seemed to be going past a second stop but they always apologise and ask am I ok to get...

Transpennine usually allocate me a priority seat when I book assistance but said they had all been booked for the train I was taking yesterday and had to reserve me a normal seat of which there were plenty left. As it happened it was a Nova and didn't run anyway
