Hi all Northern have posted both Leed & Carlisle positions.

I can confirm having recently sat the assessment, at the start the assessors advised the group that Northern do require enhanced passes this was July 2020.

Well I’ll not hold my breath but may be keep my fingers crossed, I know training is now taking place in the classrooms at least

Has anyone had the medical for the drivers role whilst been in the talent pool? How long did you have to wait before getting a course date? I had my medical two weeks ago (passed and now waiting.

No received the email saying I had passed but due to the high volume of pass rates at assessment I am in the pool until a course is available

Hello all! Now that the Northern careers website Is back up and running has anyone applied for the newly advertised Leeds Driver role? I had an application in before the website got shut down and never heard anything back from my email sent to HR. Keeping everything crossed for this time!!

Oh sadly I failed, made me really rethink about the role. It would be a pay cut but it’s something I have always dreamed of being on the rail and working towards a driver role. Do you know if you can access the shl website after you have taken the exams?
