    Website which logs bus sightings

No Bustimes would not do this as it only shows a proportion of buses and few non scheduled coaches. Busview is the best I should have thought.

Query about using London Councils Freedom Pass outside London

My experience is that London cards work on ticketer at least widely around England anmd machines used by Stagecoach. Never had a difficulty.

    West Country Independents

That is interesting I see one of the Wimborne runs is deregistered too. 1707570970 Ah yes I did wonder why Altonian (Transpora) ever bothered with it. Newent Community Transport have quite a big network now.

    West Country Independents

Interestingly they have de registered three routes resumably to free up a couple of vehicles for all the new work. They won't be going into Gloucester in passenger service any more and route 2 in Bournemouth goes. The Website implies Weymouth shguittle service still runs it does not.

Provision of saloon heating in electric buses

I am interrsted to know what your source for this is and why would First have removed them as they are in standard specification as far as I can see. Plenty of pretty cold diesel and hybrid vehicles in the last few days. All the electrics I have been on have been fine!

First South West (Kernow & Buses of Somerset)

I don't think that was ever said in relation to coaches. The only widely available electric coaches are Yutong and the info at the time referred to diesel Volvos being imminent.

Bus restoration blog - former North Western KJA299G

This is brilliant and a genuinely unusual vehicle too. It very much shows how you should only actually buy a vehicle to preserve if you have the time, the ££ , the expertise and the perseverance to finish. Sadly so many people buy their "favourite" vehicle but with none of the above and as soon...

Yes both Pulhams and Henshaws in Gloucestershire have 73 registered vehicles ready for service.

    Bus Manufacturer News & Discussion

I am pretty certain the Indian order was not built in the UK. The Metrocity is available but nobody has bought Metrodeckers for quite a while.

Preserved bus events. do we need a law change to allow charging

I am pretty certain the bucket for donations is also illegal - quite rare now. Potentially you are making these vehicles "hire and reward" when they may not be approprately insured or MOT'd. It does annoy me how few people want to buy programmes (usually brilliantly produced) and resent any...

    London Buses Discussion

It is on the TFL website so all legit (albeit confusing). Vehicles being adapted to carry branding. I wonder why X26 was not renumbered? They carry Superloop branding.

    Big Lemon

Yes there are around 8 of these. I think it is linked to the runs where Big Lemon has been supplying drivers to drive for E-Zec.
  18. D

    West Country Independents

They actually have two but the other is in use as a store per PSV Circle.

First South West (Kernow & Buses of Somerset)

All the sources I have seen say it will be published nearer the start date. Suggest you google it nearer the date and you will hit the jackpot.

Where can I find London wide bus maps?

Having purchased these maps (and one covering night routes) I woul;d strongly recommend them.
