I assume no ones had any updates in the last 4 weeks or so? Anyone on here on the October 19 or Jan 20 course? How you getting on? I know EMR are busy recruiting Depot drivers at the moment. I assume there will be courses running for those this year.

When I did my assessments last year for the Mainline I wore suit trousers and shoes with a shirt/jumper combo. Some people wore full suits, others trousers and shirt etc. What ever you wear, be comfortable when sitting, you don't want any unnecessary distractions. Best of luck!

Are you referring to the Mainline driver role for Kettering? If so, I am in the TP and haven't heard anything yet about a March course. I did my stage 2 in Sept though. There is a seperate thread for Mainline, if that's what you're referring to.

I’ve been told for the TOC I’ve applied for ( and in the pool for ) that any applicants without GCSE A-C grades will need to do the level 2 qualifications along side the course. Didn’t seem to be an issue and seemed common for newbies. Like you I’d also need to do the ICT GCSE as it wasn’t...

I doubt we will hear anything now until well into the new year, jan course has been filled. No news about other future courses, if there is any.......

Is this for a Driver role? If so, they would normally have sent the paperwork out before your OPC stage 1 day. Worth checking your junk Email though as mentioned by Stigy

Can someone clear up what Sunday inclusive means? I’m assuming it means Sunday’s are included in your shift pattern.

11 have been given start dates for October from the talent pool leaving around 19 places if EMR are to have the estimated 30 drivers in place. Adverts have gone out internally for qualified drivers to transfer to the new depot. The remaining places will be filled by the talent pool. Unless...
