No. Unfortunately I had to enquire myself as I hadn't heard anything for 4 weeks.. I guess they are too busy with recruiting for every depot, and it's easy to miss informing candidates they don't want.

Sat all assessments this year, in Crewe with Freightliner.

Was awaiting a medical date, but had all the assessments, MMI and DMI passed. Likely be years now before another opportunity presents itself. Typical.... .

So... What exactly is the increase in the 'benchmark' so to speak from standard to enhanced?? I was under the impression that some tests were scored on the candidates average on that particular day, as long as it was at a particular pass mark, unknown to candidates. So what would enhanced be...

Why would you deem it unlikely? Lol. Be prepared to resit them all at Freightliner for trainee roles. That's what will happen.

I assume this 'enhanced standard last year' was with Freightliner?

I hope you're correct on the 'repeating psychometrics'! Unfortunately I can not answer your other query from personal experience, as I do not have any. Bet someone on this forum will know though.

I believe what you say is true. I was referring to psychometric test passes from other TOC's. I think Freightliner want them sat again, even if you've passed within the 5 year timescale with another TOC. I hope I'm wrong though. Lol.

Snap. I believe if you get through dmi, and that's a big IF (lol), the Freightliner policy may wish all the psychometrics repeated again anyway. Best of luck all round though!!

You think? I hope you're correct. But it just suggests to me, what I've already suggested, in my previous post. There's quite a backlog to expire first, before any new recruitment is taken on. That could be a long time.

I heard that was just a 'rumour' though. I heard there's no plans at all to start any trainee driver recruitment till the current backlog is addressed. Covid really has put a spanner in the works!!

I'd like to know the answer to this one too!! This Covid malarkey has messed up everything it seems!
