    Class 220/221 Tractive Power

I'm working on a simulation to model the emissions of Cross Country services in and out of New Street. As part of this, I need the tractive power data of the Class 220 but I'm struggling to find anything online. I was wondering if anyone might know what the tractive power values for each of the...

ECML - which side has the best views?

I will be travelling on LNER from King's Cross to Edinburgh in the near future. It's my first time in many years travelling on the ECML and I was wondering what side of the train I should be sat on for the best views?

    SWR 450 Reading Diagrams

What Reading services are booked for 450s these days? I know pre-COVID they used to cycle every 3 hours or so with 458s.

Declassified First Class on a GWR 800

I’m travelling on the 13:31 GWR service between Temple Meads and Cardiff Central today. I’m aware that you can’t buy a first class ticket on this service and so decided to sit in the first class section on the 800 that showed up. I was confronted by a guard that asked whether or not I knew where...

Trivia: How close have 153s and 156s ever been to London?

A similar thread about the closest a Pacer has ever ventured to London has got me thinking. Have 153s or 156s ever actually been to London? My guess for the nearest a 153 has ventured is Swindon and for 156s somewhere in Hampshire when they ran Pompey services during RR days.

    GWR Pompey 158 diagrams

GWR 158s are one of the last on my list to catch. I was wondering if anyone knows if there are any 158s diagrammed for the Pompey route tomorrow. I will be travelling between Temple Meads and Salisbury
