[Portugal] Old locomotive will be refurbished back to operation.

Thanks @Giugiaro again. Before I saw your reply I already had phoned CP from GB (I dont want to see the cost for 30 mins of calling internationally!) My wife is pregnant so understandably stressed by the situation. CP's comments on the phone match with yours, so hopefully this means we can relax...

[Portugal] Old locomotive will be refurbished back to operation.

I think we will have to see regarding stopping for a longer break in Pocinho. I hear there is now a strike the next day and we dont want to get stranded. Consulte aqui os serviços mínimos para os feriados de 10, 13, 16, 24 e 28 de junho So I assume on these dates there is now a full strike? On...

By chance me and the wife are in Porto next week and have only just learned of the superb train along the scenic Douro valley, especially so given the work done on locos and carriages. Great work! Its tempted us in to a trip, if it was a unit I wont have bothered. Are all workings now loco...

    Class 373 Eurostar withdrawals

OK, but does anyone know when the last non-refurbs will go? Surely they can hang on to them for much longer given the declining condition, its not doing much to help Eurostars reputation or complaints inbox I am sure.

    Class 373 Eurostar withdrawals

Having travelled to S.France last week (3008 leading) on a refurbished set I have say I am even more saddened that many of these have been scrapped. I think the refurb is very good, my other half thought it was a new train! I find the refurb 373's a far better train than the 374's, why is the...
