Just seen a photo of 101 in service today. Didn’t realise it had left wabtec. Did it take a set with it? Hoping to see another one in service soon!

They’re all going to be done through time. So far 91101, 105 & 127 are the only ones done. 101 still in the works. 91110 & 111 won’t receive the new livery.

Thanks for this info. I’d seen 2 mk3s had been took down to Eastleigh but I wasn’t sure if this was for LSL. Definitely going to be interesting to see what happens with the sets. I think they should try get more power cars if they could, be good to see a heritage hst set!

I know 66751 was the loco involved in hauling them about when testing was going on. It didn’t need a barrier wagon as it had a coupling adapter fitted if I remember correctly

If you look on Flickr there’s a photo of 3 coaches from 221143 being hauled by 221101, it shows 143 in unbranded livery. Believe it hasn’t been out in service since it’s accident and is now off lease from Avanti. Hope this helps 1655737883

IMO it has to be a 158! I prefer the 1587xx and 1589xx batch as this is basically what I’ve grown up with! However I don’t dislike the 156s just personal opinion is the 158s! If we’re talking liveries Northern Spirit for 156s & TPE for 158s!

Thank you for that. I live in dinsdale so getting a rare unit on the line gives me something to go out for not much excitement chasing units lol! Just checked today we’ve got 158787 and 797 about!
