She also said he was in a talent pool when he was recruited. He emailed HR regularly and also found out his position in that pool. That made me decide to email HR...they replied saying the talent pool 'wasn't complete and they would be in contact when it was'! :rolleyes:

..and I've read on here that the class sizes have been cut to 4 and internals are prioritised in the pool. So it all seems above board. I asked my wife what he did and she said "ticket collector", not sure if that means guard or station staff.

I don't know how he found that out, but I can't think of a reason for him to say it if it wasn't true.

My wife sat next to a GWR worker on the train to PLY and she mentioned I was in the talent pool and did he know anything about it. He said he had heard the talent pool was complete and they had selected 4x internal candidates for the first course.

I switched from Exeter TP to Plymouth TP after completing the initial assessment. I just emailed First Group HR. Not sure if it's possible later in the process.

Omar, I can confirm that Zoom DMI is same as Danetime says - 2 interviewers. You have to show government issued ID to the webcam at the start of the interview and then email a scanned copy once the interview is over. Good luck.

Sorry for slow reply Dan. Yes I applied (originally for Exeter SD talent pool) in Aug 2019, but subsequently changed to Plymouth TP once things got rolling. I live near the Tamar Valley Line so it made sense.
