During the days of Arriva Trains Northern I remember a Newcastle to York via Durham Coast and Middlesbrough, which was normally operated by a Pacer. Travelling down the ECML at 75mph with a 225 blasting was quite something when sitting near the doors!

That would be a surprise. 60063 was currently under going overhaul and has been inside Toton for near 2 years, that would of been first on the list to complete if the claims were true, surely?
The steel for AV Dawson’s is for Nissan and it comes from Margam, generally runs into Middlesbrough on a Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. This week it’s ran today and it’s running tomorrow

I boarded the 12.36 train at Nunthorpe along with about 40 others, mostly going to the football. One thing I noted was the 5 or so passengers waiting at Gypsy Lane as we sailed passed…….
A coal train from Redcar has been running for the last few months, in fact it’s ran today and will depart this evening back to Tees Yard

66013 took the train in on Tuesday with 66035 working yesterday.
That is correct, two trains trial for coal imported via Redcar which currently goes via road.
This one was on the outskirts of Middlesbrough, not sure what era it is from but it disappeared in July time 2021, after not seen a bus for a number of years.

The Tees (ex Scunthorpe) to Dalzell runs normally once per week. It should be running Thursday this week, it can run on twice a week if the demand requires.
If I owned any carriages or wagons, the best place in my opinion would be an industrial site. Most are very secure and have lots of redundant sidings.
