TfW 15x/17x withdrawals (17x now finished)

There's a few more 197s to come and the 756s to enter service this summer. I am unsure how many 197s are left to come into service, however there is 24 756s - 7 3 coach and 17 4 coach units. These would go a long way to replacing tfws 34 class 150s.

Additionally the last set to Holyhead last Friday was to go for storage temporarily, thus after the block the 05:30 was inevitably going to be a unit.

CAF Civity for TfW: News and updates on introduction.

Only time I can think of is iron man and similar events in tenby, I've seen three coaches full and standing for that.

    GWR fleet procurement

Of course fixing them requires depot space at a suitable location so may not be the quickest process due to this. TFW will have their funding cut next year and as a result have deferred or will remove various services and service improvements. As a result I suspect TFW will want to have these...

Look forward to catching one from pembroke dock soon. Availability permitting of course.

I'm personally hoping that additional capacity is available on the line during weekends and events like iron-man.

I look forward to my short hop from Cardiff to Swansea in that case.

However it would give flexibility of the 197s and 15x being able to operate nearly any service in the south.

Any ideas if the 1630 ex Manchester Piccadilly will run on Wednesday?

Ex LNER (and Grand Central) Mark 4 sets for TfW

Having done the journey myself and frequently travelling to Cardiff I rarely see anyone come from West Wales and go further than Swansea or Cardiff. It's nearly a complete new customer base.
