Just out curiosity, those that are going to be based at Euston, where are you travelling in from? I currently live in East London, but thinking of moving to a larger home due to young family. I’m just not sure where at the moment, possibly North London or maybe even considering St Albans...

I remember there were a few on here who didn’t pass the dmi when I found out my result.

Medical result is same day, they send off your sample for drugs test but said if you don’t hear anything then it’s all fine, they only contact you if something comes up.

On the discussion of unions, I’m currently a member of the rmt. However, I will soon be starting my trainee train driver course and so I will join aslef. Does anyone know how you go about cancelling your rmt membership please? Is it just a case of cancelling the direct debit?

Received the contract and welcome pack the other day. The email said they’ll arrange my medical shortly.

There were two different dates available and different times. Have about a week to prepare. However, I’ve just withdrawn my application due to receiving a start date and contract for trainee train driver with a different toc.
