Project was dropped and its sitting at Long Marston minus a few roof panels and internal bits of kit. DML/Bombardier/Marcroft have all carried out the work they were contracted to do. Maybe the work (as specified by GC/Sovereign) was scaled back or maybe it wasn't that extensive at all in the first place...the latter statement was made going on a quick shifty round one of the PC's a while back.

The reason they are getting through them so fast is that they are VINYLED not painted. Takes an average of a couple of days from start to finish.

NX repaints are being done as and when a P/C comes due for a heavy exam (which includes a full repaint), regardless of power unit type (and anyway, 306 IS an MTU).
