London Terminals - has something changed?

I don't go down to the Nothern Line...by the time one gets to the platform you might as well walk another 5 minutes to get to Moorgate ;)

London Terminals - has something changed?

Update :) Tickets still don't work if you try to go through the barriers at Kings Cross to get to Moorgate BUT the line staff are now letting people through without question. Same when you are coming out of the underground from Moorgate...no more questions being asked or being turned away. So...

New timetable & enhanced compensation eligibility

No, as we were told to wait until everything had settled down and the trains were actually running on their advertised schedule. Anyway, Ive been in touch with Thames Link/GNR or what ever the hell they call themselves for clarification on the rules. Ive also just seen that there is a new Rail...

London Terminals - has something changed?

Yeah that is the oddity at Kings Cross. Coming up from the circle line one has to be let out but it seems if you come up from the Northern Line then thats all fine???

New timetable & enhanced compensation eligibility

This is more about the fact that "casual" ticket holders only qualify for compensation IF they travelled three times a week during the qualifying period.

New timetable & enhanced compensation eligibility

Both! Delayed AND had to revise travel times (because of the utter chaos that was the time table change).

New timetable & enhanced compensation eligibility

I picked up the delay repay pamphlet from the train station yesterday to read what one can do for non-season ticket refunds and was disappointed to note that you can only apply for a refund if you are not a season ticket holder if you travelled 3 or more times a week. Given I only travel twice...

London Terminals - has something changed?

No, still doesn't work on week days. I have to get someone to let me through going in both directions (from Kingscross going to Moorgate and coming back).

London Terminals - has something changed?

Mystery just gets more mysterier :) Great Northern saying ticket is still valid between Kings Cross and Moorgate and has asked their ticketing team to investigate.

London Terminals - has something changed?

Bletchleyite, this is where Im getting confused. Ive always been able to use the LU between Kings Cross and Moorgate (until this morning that is) and I was travelling on a London Terminals ticket to boot.

London Terminals - has something changed?

So Great Northern, through twitter is saying London Terminal tickets are valid to Moorgate while London Thameslink is not BUT yeah...not helped by everyone being lumped in together by LU and being stopped getting through the gates to begin with.

London Terminals - has something changed?

Sorry for being slow...but is Great Northern and Thameslink the same train company?
  14. M

London Terminals - has something changed?

Its a bit more of a problem than that as it was the barrier that didn't open and only after asking the man to let me through did I get the "London Terminals no longer includes Moorgate". This is when the season ticket holder got stopped and he demanded the station manager come down to explain...

London Terminals - has something changed?

I purchased my usual ticket from Peterborough to London this morning but got stopped at the barrier to the underground saying London Terminals no longer meant Moorgate?? Has something changed in the last couple weeks where you can now no longer travel between Kings Cross and Moorgate?? A chap...

So I just noticed that the trains from Peterborough are no longer run by FCC! Anyone have the skinny on why FCC got the boot from that that line? Regards Mailman

TPE kicks woman and child off train

Tell you what, Ill kick you off the train at an unmanned station with a child while treating you like a common criminal then conveniently ignore your complaint for 7 days by which time any evidence backing your story up will have been deleted and then lets see if you remain "not emotive". I...

TPE kicks woman and child off train

Did you even read any of this thread? If you had you would have known she complained within 24 hours of the incident, which it was then claimed wasnt received until 7 days later by which time the CCTV footage had already been wiped. How very convenient. Seems to me that a little common...

What was the driver for electrification?

With the impending closure of 20% of the UK's electricity generating capacity from as early as April this year AND our continued reliance on the least practical forms of power generation which cant generate power when its most needed (ie. when its cold and dark) I think we are more likely to run...
