    Pokémon Go and the rails.

Of course rather than going into a panic and the usual outrage you could actually use the game as something positive.. https://www.c2c-online.co.uk/about-us/latest-news-press-releases/one-day-go-rover-ticket-special/ From above posts you'd have expected this to stop the job for the entire...

Gospel Oak to Barking Line (GOBLIN) electrification

Impressive, given its not agreed with the operators yet. Don't seem to have mentioned the three weeks when they are planning to down tools and not do anything while leaving the whole lot blocked as they don't want to resource it, either :-?

London Bridge - new timetable during reconstruction works commencing 5th January 2015

Its solid gen. You'll have to appreciate I can't go public as Southern won't as its too political. The fact 'tsr' and the other SN\Govia\NR project lot have not rebuked it says it all. My only advice would be to get your MPs involved asap.

London Bridge - new timetable during reconstruction works commencing 5th January 2015

So the "improvements" in May, are to be reinstatement of 'most' West Croydon via Sydenham services. Traded off against a further reduction in South Bermondsey line services to 2tph peak. From 4 current. From 6 pre-September ie what it should be. Pathetic service provision for East Dulwich...

What's supposed to happen if there's unscheduled bustitution and you have a bike?

For planned buses at least the best bet is to ask the driver and bus co-ordinator. However there has recently been a crackdown with staff expected not to take bikes on the booked buses - if there is a standby bus best practise is to put the bike and party on that and run as an extra.

UK Stations no longer served by InterCity

But it was the expense of being able to get anywhere north without going via Birmingham as all the Rugby stops were removed from anything going down the Trent, so it really wasn't an improvement at all.

    150/2 to NXEA

You really think that wasn't asked? Arriva were the only TOC willing to do business. Worth bearing in mind the hire only runs to the end of NXEA franchise as it is not DfT funded.

HS1 - Stratford to Liverpool Street

Either way the local agreement (for which NX recieve no revenue) only runs until the end of the NXEA franchise, there is no requirement for the new franchise to carry it forward.
