Direct Rail Services 37405 released in O Gauge / 7mm!

I am loving the Revolution Trains releases this week! I am very very poor now! I never understood why Heljan released a plain DRS 37/4. Thought it might interest people here... http://www.revolutiontrains.com/o-la-la-revolution-offers-0-gauge-class-37/

Wouldn't it be great if Cross-Country took some of the redundant HST's?

Seeing as most of the Angel Trains HSTs are now spoken for with GWR and Scotrail, you'll be pushed to find enough stock to make any additional compliant HSTs (Angel own the design IP). Considering the entire project to extend the life of the Mk3 has proven to be considerably more expensive than...

Would anyone know what diagrams 802011 is on this week. I want to capture a photo of her new name, Captain Robert Falcon Scott.

    GWR Class 800

You seem to be an expert in seating, thus, would you care to tell the audience just exactly what seats are on the market place for 'intercity/inter-regional' layouts? Yes ladies and gentlemen, two. The FISA Leap and Compin-Fainsa Sophia. Grammer, as far as I am aware do not have a current...

Keolis Amey Wales - Future Rolling Stock

Sorry, I am rather lost. You claimed you were going to "show" us the Stadler Citylink for Wales. This suggested you are well informed, yet you then show the above sketch? Here is the actual Citylink metro tram-train from Stadler. Note, there is utterly no difference in using the term tram-train...

GWR Intercity Express Train (IEP) initial diagrams & allocations

Would someone be kind enough to provide the diagrams allocated to 802s on Sundays, down to the Westcountry? I know I've seen them somewhere, yet hidden in countless pages.

    GWR Class 800

If I may just be pendantic: 1. Technically, the DfT awarded Agility Trains the IEP, in turn, Agility Trains West and Agility Trains East order the respective fleets of 800/801 class Trains from Hitachi. 2. It has been planned from day one that the 802/0 fleet would form peak...

    GWR Class 800

Sadly, no new seat foam (this was never planned). The cover is changing from a cloth to loop-pile as per 800012 (which was the test unit and the changed was decided before the first service back in October). Currently, no other units have been retro-fitted down to trialing out 012, as well as...

    The decline of GWR...

A most interest post, as I believed that the 802/0s would split at Plymouth, sending only one unit forward to Penzance. Likewise at Bristol TM and the 800/0 splitting, sending one unit forward to Weston SM or Taunton/Paignton. This is now confirmed as not happening? I imagine the increase in...

GWR operating short 'HSTGTi' sets (see diagrams section for workings)

There seems to be a few poster's in this thread who might have direct knowledge. What is the RAL paint code for GWR door colour? I was lead to believe it is RAL 9006 Aluminium White, yet this appears way to silvery. Thanks in advance.

Locos modified to work under GA Safety Certification are: 37401, 403, 407 (when delivered), 419, 422, 423, 424, 425 and 716. I believe 401 is the only 37 not to...

    GWR Class 800

One of the first body shells for Italy. Thus 802. It is a regular occurrence for the body shells to be moved by road from the factory to the dock for shipment. Only this move was during day light hours and subject to some local Hitachi PR. Hence the crowds.
