Will there be more East Midlands Trains calling at Luton?

No rolling stock is ear marked for it but the 379 are heavily rumoured.
  2. Class377/5

    Southeastern class 376 diagrams.

Pre-rebuild. The wires were going up around the time but not sure if they were live. As for allowed to City Thameslink, the 375/6 (in DC mode) and 376 are allowed as far as Smithfield with the wires on but all the DC only 375 are not permitted north of Blackfriars.

I think there will be some used to re-enforce points being made.

    Southeastern class 376 diagrams.

Atleast one has been to Smithfield Sidings. Saw it appear one evening on the southbound at Blackfriars and was rather surprised.

Will there be more East Midlands Trains calling at Luton?

There seems to be a lot of confusion on this so I will round up the plans. The new 2tph Corby to St Pancras electric service from 2019 will be calling at Bedford and Luton with the airport asking for 2tph all day service minimum. This is part of the East Midlands franchise. What the...

Thameslink Wimbledon loop Class 700, 387, 377/5 diagram / timetable

One issue you have is the diagrams are being changed every fortnight at present so any info will only be valid for a matter of weeks at best. This will settle down in he summer.

    Crossrail timetable

Indeed. This way will stop issues on the 'branches' affecting everything. It's not really that different to the District really.

Thameslink 319 377 387 700 using London St Pancras International EMT platforms.

Services into the high level are always rare and always connected to engineering works. The other weekend when there was emergency timetable, Kentish Town was closed as part of the Core block. There will be many more chances to get the 700s into St Pancras but the 377 and the 319s, time...

Class 319 workings South of Greater London.

TL has just 6x 387 and all be gone next time some more 700s arrive. As for units (amount and unit), I don't have a full idea I'm afraid. By May it should be 319 or 700s.

    Class 455 to Brighton - 19/01

387124 is on loan covering 387210 which is off to Derby today for some works. This has never happened before as GatEx used 387/2. That said 387201/202/203/206/222/223 were borrowed by Thameslink last year for a short period.

Class 319 workings South of Greater London.

Some to Northern, LM, some in store.

Class 319 workings South of Greater London.

At the moment the 700s are replacing the 387s and then the 377s before replacing the remaining 319s. There are no booked 319s on the Brighton line and it's unlikely to happen much now. By May there will be a lot of 700s running everywhere with limited 319s by then. And by limited, it could be...

    Class 455 to Brighton - 19/01

Er I don't work in planning. And there was no proper planning of these diagrams, just ad hoc (ie a few hours before). Just to note the warning on here of Friday's run were done literary as it was being arranged to help some of you guys ride the units after missing out on Thursday. It's not...

    Class 455 to Brighton - 19/01

They were peak only specials due to lack to of trains due to the planned cancellations. You don't have a peak at weekends so you won't be seeing them at weekends due to no peak then. --- old post above --- --- new post below --- All come out of Stewarts Lane and returned

    Class 455 to Brighton - 19/01

They are Southern services not GatEx. They are newly created trains for Southern. There are no spare 387s to to do. I know this as I'm helping sort them out. And there will be a second pair about 30mins later I believe.

    Class 455 to Brighton - 19/01

No. Was a special one off event using the only spare stock. There was also an additional 442 which ran as well. Sure the 442 was the GatEx service where as the 455 were supposed to be a special Southern service. 455 were used as few 377 got damaged on the East Grinstead line. Case of have...
