    National Rail Games Train Tickets

Thanks for your answers so far. I'm a bit disappointed with this, not just because of the prices, but they seem to have taken up the "Advance" fares ticket allocation on some journeys. This means that even booking a couple of months before the cheapest from Bristol - Paddington and back is still...

    National Rail Games Train Tickets

Hi all, Does anyone know if the National Rail Games Travel website is allowed to make this statement under the NRCoC and will it be enforced? I ask because quite a few journeys I've checked on nationalrailgamestravel.co.uk seem to be cheaper than nationalrail.co.uk or the TOC's own website...

Break of journey > PAD - RDG - BRI

Lovely stuff guys. Thanks for your help! :)

Break of journey > PAD - RDG - BRI

Apologies guys, it's PAD - BRI return, and will break my journey on the outwards portion. Ah, cheers ainsworth74. So just to clarify, if I'm on any train that leaves PAD before 1501 for RDG, and any train that departs PAD for BRI after 1901, the break of journey can be made/resumed with the...

Break of journey > PAD - RDG - BRI

Hi all, a little help if you can please? Next week, I'm planning on doing a journey to Bristol Temple Meads (BRI) from Paddington (PAD), but need to stop off in Reading (RDG) for a couple of hours first. Looking at Advance fares, it looks like it will be cheaper, but I understand a "Break...

    Gold card on Heathrow Express

 Sorry mate, but if they listen, I'll eat my shoes! There are no designated training staff currently, and the one person who did ticketing when I was started 4 years back, knew less than me. The company fail to do re-training on ticketing (even though all staff have a day rostered for...

    Gold card on Heathrow Express

http://www.railcard.co.uk/network/terms HEx use the same T&C's for GOLD cards. The reason why they may not always charge the correct fare is a training issue. The TOM's (Ticket Office Machine's) are correctly programmed, however the same can't be said for all the staff... :p

    Gold card on Heathrow Express

Yep, that will be the minmum fare rule (as the GOLD card follows the same ones as the NSE Card). £13 is the correct fare. :)

YP Oyster Railcard Early Off Peak Fares

Cheers everyone! Appreciate you clearing that up for me. :)

YP Oyster Railcard Early Off Peak Fares

Ah ok, that makes sense. I was looking at the Zones rather than the destinations. So if I started my journey at a LUL/LO Station, it would be calculated with the Zonal fares? E.G. Arnos Grove (Zone 4) - Victoria (Zone 1) = £1.70

YP Oyster Railcard Early Off Peak Fares

Hi all, I'm hoping someone can clear this up for me. I used my 16-25 Railcard Oyster Card this morning to make my journey from New Southgate (NSG), to Victoria (VIC). I got on the 06:22 train, so 'touched in' at around 06:18. The journey cost me £2.45 (which is correct for a standard "off-peak"...

    Heathrow Express Discount

Depends who serves you... The correct procedure to issue this ticket would be for the staff member to follow the Network RailCard T&C's, meaning £13 (I presume is minimum fare still?), however they rarely did (even with me bugging them), and probably still don't. :)

    Heathrow Express Discount

I don't know if this has changed since I left mid last year (very unlikely as it didn't in 4 years); GOLD card discounts are subject to the exact same T&C's on HEx/HEc as the Network Railcard. I'm not sure if the main ticket office or TVM's will offer this discount (the HEx TVM's don't) but...

    Bristol Temple Meads - Walton-On-The-Naze

Ah cheers Yorkie. This is where I got the restrictions idea from: http://www.nationalexpresseastanglia.com/help--1/faq-s/tickets/what-times-are-off-peak-and-super-off-peak-tickets-valid/(search_text)/off+peak/(sub_tree_search)/19663 Very confusing wording as you can see... :?

Ah cheers once again mate. Great help! Great to know which sites use the "WebTIS" systems as well. :) --- old post above --- --- new post below --- Sorry for bringing this up again. Looking at the "rules" regarding Super Off-Peak Tickets, would I be able to use that ticket on services governed...

I meant the price for the Super Off Peak Return bb. :) Cheers for the PRIV pricing! Did know about the rules regarding Advance Tickets, but was unsure if it applied at all times.
