    Waterloo & City Line Depot

Heathrow loop is scheduled pax services. Goes from; Hatton X > Terminal 4 (sits for up to 8 mins) > Terminals 1 & 3 > London Bound.

Why do the Piccadilly Line announcements start late?

I've noticed that the 73ts DVA's are getting worse every time I travel on them (a good few times a week). Might it be something to do with the last update/modification which introduced an annoying *bing* sound which comes on before every announcement?!

    Tube "Delays" Redefined

I completely agree with the video thing. Annoys the hell out of me! :( It's "at the discretion of the line controller" according to the video. So yes, it does look like standardisation and guidelines may help here!

    Tube "Delays" Redefined

Video: BBC - Tube Delays Redefined What do we think? I personally don't think it makes a difference to anyone but the managers who get performance related pay/bonuses. I've been on peak tube services that take 4 times as long to do one station, yet "Good Service" has been displayed. Other...

    New metropolitan trains

And if we're talking about the 09 Stock...

    New metropolitan trains

Haha. I've been wondering if the more frequent excuse of "due to a faulty train at xxx" anywhere between Aldgate - Baker St had been down to the S Stock!? It will be a shame to see the A60's go, but the improvements the S offers can't be denied (providing they work).

    Heathrow Terminal 5?

Different Dave. ;) 2 minutes at CTA, I think they're having a laugh myself, but we shall see... Am looking forward to being there in a strange/sick way. Get to try out my "Underground" style PA's!

    Heathrow Terminal 5?

 Lets put it this way, after seeing the finalised version of the arrival/departure times at CTA today, I think T5 is where HEx stops being an "extension of the airport experience", and starts being a proper TOC, with delays, high fares and poor customer service levels through the roof... :|...

Your top ten Piccadilly line stations

I'm in agreement with Andrew about T5! It is the best... but only because we're running it! ;)

    Tube Strikes

What more can TfL/LU do until the administrators have done what they need to? The RMT as usual have rushed into a strike decision which benefits no-one. Staff lose pay and customers suffer. The time TfL/LU say there will be job losses is the time to strike, not when nothing can be done because...

    Tube Strikes

Do you have a reason for being behind them, or are you just saying that? There is no reason for the main strike what so ever. TfL have done all they can. Letters have been sent to all Metrodebt staff assuring them that they wont lose their jobs, and apart from taking the Metrodebt staff and...

    Victoria Line Yesterday

No, I don't believe their first option is to jump, and "disrupt thousands of commuters", but If they want some help, or a chat, then maybe they should try it first, before deciding to jump under a train. Hence the reason I think they're ignorant, they don't think about seeking help, before they...

    Victoria Line Yesterday

In my opinion, which I should of added earlier, they are attention seekers, and they are ignorant. If they're not, then why do they do it at peak hours usually, and in stations that will mean severe disruption to the rest of the line. You never hear of them doing it at stations like Ealing...

    Victoria Line Yesterday

No, a one under is some ignorant attention seeker who thinks jumping under a train will solve all their problems, regardless of who it may effect, I.E. the driver! A murder, when referring to people under a train, is when that person is PUSHED under the train, by someone. They don't do it...

    Victoria Line Yesterday

Don't forget that when he posted that, and I posted the news, it had not been confirmed that they were pushed, and was believed to be suicide, at the time!

    Victoria Line Yesterday

Actually they may have been pushed!! :o Poor driver :( http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/5160516.stm

    Tube passengers trapped for hours

I wish I was there, would've given me an excuse to finish reading The DA Vinci Code! :( :p Surely there must of been many safety procedures or loads of other useless antics they have to go through before they get onto the track, let alone get the passengers out?

    2009TS - First car constructed

Am I going mad or does that look bigger than the other tube stocks?
