    Matt is correct, but as I am not familiar with Carstairs, I can believe either a) It's a buzzing metropolis b) It's a tiny hamlet Or anything in between! I must admit, there doesn;t seem much about whenever I've passed through it!

    I don't think Saltburn counts if it has more than one track and platform (which I think the OP meant!), and the last time I passed through Stourbridge Junction had more than one track! On the other hand, there's Looe and Liskeard - it's a seperate station at the latter!

    Llandecwyn is the halt you mean. Talsarnau does not have a short platformm nor is it the first call after Penrhyndeudraeth heading towards Harlech!
