I used to a couple of years back work down at the Bluebell Railway, I used to help out in Kingscote Ticket Office and would often be down at Sheffield Park cleaning up the locos. I am now going to start down on the EKR when they next have a day open.

The ELR is also very expensive when I went there it was approaching 5 quid for a child return between two stations although I think this has changed since I last went. But thankfully the guard was very nice and as I'd come up from London for the Thumper they waved the fare which was nice.

It is a railtour just a long running one. There not running it under NR rules or anything like that. NR tickets are not allowed on it, its a railtour.

Tbh I believed the ELR was overpriced when I went (I think this has now changed) it was 5 quid for a rtn trip between 2 stations, fortunatly the ticket lady was nice and said that it was ok and I didn't have to pay. I did enjoy the Thumper trip I had but both ways we had people throwing rocks...

I heard the MHRs event wasn't hapening due to lack of drivers and something to do with the HMRI.
