    There was an article in the Telegraph yesterday mentioning that the Oxford Vaccine team are currently working on modifying the vaccine to be just as effective against the known variant strains. that modified vaccine will then need to be assessed by the MHRA for approval.

    Several of the checkout staff in our local Morrisons do use sanitizer between every customer. In the Nationwide building society they now also wipe the keypad and screen of the atm inside the branch after each customer.

    British Gas are still servicing boilers to comply with gas safety regulations. Our boiler was serviced as usual in the summer - the fitter wore a mask indoors and sanitised before arrival. The only issue may be availability of any parts needed.

    The gov.uk guidance mentions that medical, veterinary and teacher training students are included in those who will still receive teaching in person. Other subjects would be remote learning. All students returning must take COVID tests and quarantine before start of teaching.
