    In Croydon I am sure the 130X route was axed when Tramlink was introduced . This express route ran non-stop from East Croydon station to Gravel Hill. Maybe someone can confirm?

    In Lewes on the No. 29 Tunbridge Wells to Brighton route the bus stop outside the old bus station serves passengers for both going to Tunbridge Wells direction or Brighton direction. In the Brighton to Tunbridge Wells direction the bus does a circle around the one way system to serve that bus stop.

    The part of Upper Norwood is still called Crystal Palace with the railway station of that name serving that area. The Premier League football team which I support also carries that name....

    Mentioning Croydon I see that Croydon Airport is still listed in London Buses routes 289 and 119 . Croydon Airport was closed in the late 1950s and the runways have become a housing estate although the terminal building is now a museum.

    I moved from Croydon in 1976...!!!!! 12A was still running to South Croydon. 54 Terminated in Croydon town centre and route to Selsdon was (I believe) replaced by 64. I go back further and remember the Route no. 630 and 654 trolleybuses in Croydon...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
