Many years ago I worked on the Llangollen Railway and stayed in one of the volunteers accommodation coaches- a converted GWR Hawksworth 3rd class compartment brake coach. I understand that the Strathspey Railway have an excellent volunteers accommodation "hostel" at Aviemore.
