I live not far from Henlow, and we do get plenty services like this in this part of Beds. Some of them are surprisingly well patronised - basically a local coach company runs them more as shopping excursions to MK and Cambridge than anything else. However, Central Beds council has no interest...

Always say thankyou in the UK, unless it's somewhere with rear doors, like London. I also always greet the driver when boarding, it would seem odd not to. Abroad, I follow others' lead. Always try to say 'hello' anyway.

I agree in principle, but don't think it's quite that clear cut. In the cities, it's clear that faith schools generally exist to educate pupils within a certain faith. I, personally, believe that education and religion should be separated, the latter being an entirely private matter...
