That sentence is probable less readily comprehensible to many then the aforementioned announcements...

West Midlands Railway "Code of Conduct"

Going by the Disputes & Prosecutions section, I'm imagine there are people of a delicate disposition who'd appreciate the law not being mentioned, due to it sounding too oppressive...

Use of the GSM-R by signallers/control to contact drivers

I'd think it'd be less suitable for the former than the latter, depending on the circumstances. Personally I'd rather them under use them, they can be more distracting and untimely than other things operators forbid to avoid distractions.

RMT announces further strike action for TOCs & overtime ban for Network Rail

If socialism is saving people from going on a holiday to Birmingham, it should really be appreciated...

Train driver confirmed dead in West Worthing station tragedy (01/02/2022)

Why only GTR, don't want to rock the boat too much...? It'll be interesting to see if the RSSB's guidance paper on the matter, mentioned in the report, results in anything discernible. Indeed, I can't speak for that location, but there are others like that where you wouldn't give it much if...

RMT rejects latest offer from both Network Rail and RDG (TOCs)

That's fair enough, I'd be surprised if they realistically expect that to happen though.

RMT rejects latest offer from both Network Rail and RDG (TOCs)

I don't know know anybody who realistically expects that to happen, yet there always seems to be people here who wish to just participate in an argument against that. It isn't really relevant.

RMT rejects latest offer from both Network Rail and RDG (TOCs)

Late to reply to this as I presume your post was held up in moderation... [EDIT] I pointed that out myself subsequently, having not even seen your post, I wouldn't have thought anybody here was unaware of it. But the idea that is the basis for the dispute is clearly ridiculous or at least naïve.

RMT rejects latest offer from both Network Rail and RDG (TOCs)

Let's be clear, in the case of the operators, 5% for 2022, 4% for 2023, where the greatest issue for many is not the percentages offered but the completely ridiculous way in which conditions have been attached. You're not daft, so I wouldn't expect you to peddle the simplified line.

It'd be one of the worst options available to them, so maybe they are thinking of it.

RMT rejects latest offer from both Network Rail and RDG (TOCs)

So secret that the basis for this great revelation is publicly available in their rule book, readily available on their website and regularly quoted on this forum, at least. I'm afraid this can't be considered contributory evidence to your theory/hope that there's some kind of RMT mutiny in the...

RMT rejects latest offer from both Network Rail and RDG (TOCs)

Can people please read @Solent&Wessex 's post above carefully and try to understand it, as it explains rather well a fundamental flaw of the industry/RDG/state's current position.

The independent inquiry into allegations of sexual harassment and bullying within TSSA has now concluded.

Fear not, union staff are usually in a union themselves or are at least entirely entitled to be.

You have the floor... Fairly inevitable who would make the most of this news. More wood for the fire, heh.

We can certainly see some of their managers know how to play the game.
