The 08:09 Leeds to Knaresborough calls at all the usual stops along the route, but for some odd reason isn’t set to stop at Weeton!

Is there a specific reason behind this as it seems odd to miss it out even if passenger numbers aren’t massive when the service isn’t express and calls everywhere else

In fact often the drivers seem to forget and stop at Weeton anyway!

If you look at the timings of the ECS/KGX service, it visits the station 3 times. This is to get it out of the way at what is a busy time of the day at Harrogate. Making sure that they have plenty of time for the shunting about of this stock seems to be the reason. There's a LDS-YRK right behind it on the way in and a YRK-LDS in front on the way out.
