I'd hazard a guess at a light class 47 loco going to the DCR base at Okehampton

More than likely is, as DCR have started to move locos down there for the forthcoming 'Polar Express' shuttles. Sad single use for the line, and id be surprised if this is a Riviera Loco being hired to DCR after the Stafford incident too.

It's a 56 hauling a 47. The 47 is for use on the Polar Express, due to the problems with 47 which moved there last week to work them. The 56 has to haul the 47 down because the 47 is not fitted with GSMR.

47375 didn't sound right last weekend on the polar express and seemed to be struggling on the climbs, 31459 had to do a lot of pushing.

47769 (which is now owned by Harry Needle) was dragged down to the Dartmoor Railway, 56311 providing the power to Taunton, with 31190 being used from there.

47375 didnt sound particularly good when it left Exeter hauling the 2 31s out of platform 2 a couple of weeks ago.
