1413 Steam RTC charter Carlisle to Euston Sat 29/2/20

This special charter passenger train was delayed for about two hours between Hellifield and Blackburn, finally arriving back at Euston at 0124 today Sun 3/3; almost three hours late.

Does anyone know the reasons please for this very late running etc ?

Brake issues on one (or more of the coaches) then not helped by problems detaching the support coach and steam loco from the train at Preston then further delayed by being diverted via the West Midlands and Northampton due to engineeing possessions.
