In around 2000 Central Trains loaned Wessex Trains 153329 & 153369 which turned out to be a permanent transfer, also in around 2001 i think it was Wessex Trains were also loaned 153379 from Central Trains, now does anyone have any pictures of 153379 whilst it was on loan to Wessex Trains - there was 1 picture of fotopic obviously not anymore!!

I did travel on 153329 and 153369 from Exmouth to Teignmouth but never saw 153379 whilst it was on loan, 153379 was quite obvious as on the No2 cab end it had a completely black fly screen.

Does anyone actually know how long 153379 was on loan for and what was it regular duties or was it used wide and far over the Wessex Trains Network!

At some point Wessex Trains repainted two into a light blue livery advertising the Looe Valley line which I thought looked rather good

Which was the former Central Trains 153329 & 153369 - The St Ives Bay Belle & Looe Valley exporers respectively. Other transferes into the FGW fleet include 153361 - Ex First North Western / Arriva Trains Wales - token sprinter replacement? and now also ex Midlands 153325 & 333.
