16:52 Edinburgh-Birmingham Query

Does anybody know whether 16:52 Edinburgh-Birmingham New Street is actually booked for a Pendalino and also what happens to this unit when it gets to Birmingham New Street.

The reason for the above question is due to the fact that on Saturday it was a Pendalino and I thought all Scotland-Birmingham services were actually Voyagers with the London services being Pendalinos

It is booked for a 221 (or 2×221, the WTT doesn't distinguish) on weekdays, but a 390 on Saturdays.

This train goes back to the depot after working the service on Saturday.

I would guess the depot, being Oxley (North of Wolverhampton) as that would be the nearest facility for servicing 'Pendos'.
