Can't say that I entirely agree; for what is essentially a very mundane subject, I think it is good to see it in a wider context. Indeed, without any indication of where the location is given in the caption, a tightly cropped image would just be another front 3/4 shot of an EMU. At least with the uncropped version it is possible to see where it is, what it's doing, take a look at the surrounding infrastructure and there is an element of 'humanity' in the picture, something that often adds to interest.

Obviously this is personal opinion and I guess to satisfy everyone, cropped and uncropped versions can be posted.
