Stadler units regularly visit for tyre turning, this one was visiting a few weeks back whilst I was on training.

The one I saw was a 12 car train. I'm sure the trainer said they go via cannonbury to liverpool street, and then onto where ever they are needed.

That's a cool route, do 755s switch to electric at Ely? And do the 745s pop up at Hornsey too?
I saw the service linked above pass Cambridge North on diesel, although I'm not sure whether that's more to do with the 755s not being approved for working in multiple on electric yet (at least I don't think they have been!).

No, still not allowed to run in multiple with pans raised in passenger or ECS workings. Only the ongoing test trips can do this.

Look for 5Qxx paths out of Crown Point or Norwich station, they are timed as 745/755 whenever I've looked.
