1st class Italy - Paris TGV

I hold a First Class ticket for TGV 9242 Milano Porta Garibaldi 10.12 - Paris Gare de Lyon 17.19 on Saturday 25th August. Has anyone travelled First Class on Paris - Italy TGV trains and can tell me what it's like? I presume that there is no free catering as all publicity only says that meals are served at seat, nothing more. I know that there is no free catering on domestic TGV trains but that TGV Lyria do offer this. So I presume that the extra 10€ spent on First Class has simply bought me a more comfortable seat as would be expected on a domestic journey.
Am I also correct in thinking that the Fréjus Tunnel prevents TGV Duplex trains from being used on this route?

I'm sure you get a free airline style meal on all international TGVs including Frankfurt - Paris ICE 3s..?

According to RailEurope's factsheet, in first class you can purchase a meal at your seat.

I think these trains are SNCF TGVs running into Italy, as opposed to international trains. To the annoyance of the Italian railways, which have required them to terminate at Porta Garibaldi instead of Centrale.
