Always nice to see some blue sky...too many shots have boring white, washed out sky.

Might that not be due to the fact that the sky is very often like that sometimes?

Best get used to black sky for a while anyway, it's bloody terribly dark after 1715 for a while! Makes for some nice atmospheric shots in places though!

You are correct - it's not that often that there is lovely clear blue sky without any haziness - ideal photting weather. With the autumn colours as well at the moment, some days I wish I wasn't stuck indoors working all day.

Nice shots there, dont understand the southern electricky units (North of watford me) but the 47 & 37 look good.
As for weather it's been cracking today, was driving heart of wales line today in a 153 & the sun & autumn leaf colouring would of made a cracking shot if i hadn't been trying to stop the bloody thing at request stops with the wheels locking up all the while..........blooming no sander fitted 153 units.Grrrr!

No sander fitted to the 153s? A terrible mistake that! I would have thought there would be one somewhere on them, but hey!

For now, I need to get a decent cam of my own though, it's terribly annoying not being able to go photting due to no cam!

The powers that be reckon sanders would interfere with the track circuit actuators fitted to 153's & could actually lead to a 153 "disappearing" off a signallers panel.:pale:
