There are rush hour 313 services into Kings Cross. Do they work as a separate diagram doing more than one trip to or from KX or do they interwork with the trains to Moorgate by swapping at Welwyn Garden City?
Curiosity got the better of me.

I know that 2R31 (0720 Letchworth - King's Cross) is a straight out and back from Hornsey, hence the calls for it to become an 8-car.

Don't know any others though.

All interworked.

The 07:20 Letchworth to Kings Cross comes empty from Letchworth sidings before, amd empty to Hornsey after. Part two of the diagram in the afternoon is empty to Moorgate, then Gordon Hill, Moorgate, Welwyn and into the sidings there.

It would therefore have a Moorgate trip the day before, stabling at Letchworth, and a trip to Moorgate from Welwyn the next day.

1828 Kings Cross- Welwyn and 1858 Kings Cross- Welwyn are both booked as 6 car 313s, both form from moorgate services.
