Is it not identical to the other dozen or so Southern 319s :???:
No, It is the Second 319 (which works in Southern Diagrams) to come back from Wolverton and also which sums up the total of 2 Southern Livered 319s on Southern SU Diagrams 701-707

I'm getting really sick of some peoples attitude towards certain trains, just because their not 30+ years old. I'd personally rather get on a 319 or a 455, than a 37 or 47. Not everyone is going to like the same thing because that would be boring so just grow up, will you.

Rant Over.

. Hmmm, I saw 319006 on my return from Wandsworth Road at Victoria. Unfortunately I don't hang around Thameslink/Southern territory, so I can't guarantee that I will be ready for a shot if I do see 319214. And EMUs don't interest me anyway!!!
[EDIT]

Also YOU should be grateful of them for being built, without the 319s , There would be No Cross London Thameslink Services, No Connex Express, No Brighton/Gatwick Airport-Watford Junction/Rugby services, and also no extra surbaban services

Today I stepped in to a freezing 377203 "Selhurst Cobbler" to Clapham Junction and I got a cold :(

Julian you've just written a load of rubbish above. Why the hell should Joe be greatful for 319s, if 319s weren't built something else would have been built to do the service.

319s are extremely common; there's nothing particilarly interesting/unusual about a 319 move.

Also your comment makes no sense, as you are comparing a unit to a light loco. Are you seriously suggesting that Mk2s/Mk3s are of a lower quality than 319s/455s with their awful 2+3 low down seating and plastic interiors with the most restrictive window view ever? If so, then in my opinion that is totally bonkers. But you have a right to your opinion.

However that has nothing to do with the point that this topic is not applicable to the forum it's posted in.

Yorkie come down to London and see what Selhurst/Southern had done to the 319/2 ex Brighton Express Units, They changed the Interior, into Green! with better seats, if you don't believe me go and travel on one, (12+25 Epsom Downs )
455s are ok, I went on one today :)

Ironically your post is comparing a commuter EMU to a InterCity Coach. Just like comparing League 2 football to the Premiership (Using it as an example).

Anyway 319 movements don't particularly interest me either hence why I mostly ignore topics than are no use to me rather than post non-constructive criticism such as "319 are boring!!!". People like there own trains (I like 323s!) and I think certain forum members need to bare that in mind when posting as it could upset them as seen above.

Just bare it in mind ;)

just comparing a sh.it box to a beast of a classic loco is unreal. Im sick of hearing about bloody rubbish dmus on this forums, 319's that and 455's this, in the whole these things are bloody rubbish and if i was going to see a dmu the only thing it would be is a class 101 replicating a 80's service down my local.

Will people stop arguing just because something doesn't interest them. I'm not particularly interested in aviation, but I'm not flaming people for posting threads about that new oversized airplane thingy. This forum has almost 200 active members, and over 400 members in total, just because you don't like something, doesn't mean that the other 400+ members won't find something interesting. Fair enough if the thread title doesn't clearly describe the thread, but if you don't like 319s, don't bother reaing the thread that is clearly going to be about 319s.

It was not me who made the crazy comparison. ;)

Why did you click on this topic then? :s

While I also share your view that 455s and 319s are boring, I must point out they are EMUs not DMUs, but irrespective of that, just don't read the post!

I would normally have ignored it, but I was informed that someone had made a very silly comparison of a 37 and a 319 and I felt I had to respond to that. ;) Otherwise, this topic is just ignore material for those who don't like 319s.

I wasn't suggesting any such thing. All I was saying is that I like 319's & 455's. I have grown up with them and didn't grow up with 37's or 47's so don't find them as intresting. It seems to be that nearly every post made on this forum is corrected or criticised just because someone says they like something different.

That was my point. I wasnt having a go at Julian for his railway interests, he can like whatever he wants to. My point was that there was nothing specifically special so I felt it wasnt need in the "Tours and Special Workings" forum

Me neither, generally something which is common is not going to be fascinating. Especially as Southern liveried 319s are no longer rare/special.
[EDIT]
Well soon, the Connex Livery is going to be gone soon on the 319/0 variant
It's just 319002 and 319013 that have the Connex Livery, and so has 319216,319217 and 319219 which makes 5 Southern Units out of 20 , which has Connex Livery, and soon Connex Livery will be rare/special

319s are not "sh.it boxes". They are comfortable trains which get me from A to B. You are not in a position to talk about being sick hearing things. For one,
Good point, it's just the NSE seats which lets them down, Hopefully Selhurst will put in the New Seats, and then everything will be ok! :)
Demps,
Have you ever been in a 319? The only "sh9888t boxes" are Class 450s, Bring back the 458s that rot in the Sidings and put them to Service

And also I saw 319215 at London Bridge, was I bothered to Take a photo of it? No
Because I have it here Click to see image of 319215 at London Bridge
Here's the Site that is dedicated to the 20 Southern 319s
Southern Class 319s

Some Gen like this, Is useful (if someone had never taken a photo of a 319 on the WCML)
Here's an examples of a Gen from Two Weeks ago

I think everyone should drop their opinionated craptrap personally. I was on a Mk3 HST trailer with failed aircon today. It sucked. I was on a 170/5 with lovely, cool air conditioning working perfectly with a far smoother ride than the HST previous that I was on. Result: 170 wins over HST.

Also, apparently 220s and 221s technically have the same leg room as a HST. Dunno how or why, but apparently tis true.

There's nothing wrong with 319s ( shoot me for this ;))

Everyone has diferent tastes. For example i like 158s + 159s. Although a nice bit of class 20 or 37 haulage isn't bad :p

Like joea1 said it's not worth posting in a railtour thread!

Why not have a diagrams section? To post stuff about boring things?

Monday could prove to be exciting ( i think)

More 319s working on Southern, i think it's to relieve Peak time congestion or something like that

Good to see FCC are trying their best to hang onto as many 319s as possible...
