Hi all

I have some info about 319011 `John Ruskin College`.

Today it's parked up in Horsham Sidings which is next to the
station and it's able to photograph untill tonight when a 377 will
block it's view.

On Friday it worked the diagram which made it end up in the Sidings.

On Monday it will be on SU701 which starts at Horsham on the 05:17
to Victoria.

Hope this of interest

Many thanks

Sam.

Here is the Diagram of SU701 :D

Every 319 i've been on has been a heap! Bits falling off, seats ripped, why someone would want to ride on them is beyond me.

Did I ever say 319s were hellfire, where does it say that?
Ripped Seats, none of the 319s i've been on had ripped seats (i think that the 313 you're on about!),Excuse me, what's this, all of 319/2 have this now,

The Southern ones are the worst. They still have NSE seats - not the nice springy ones like 317s - the horrible ones the 456s have. Much like the angular designed 317s in One colours, some 319 have been painted up but have the interiors they were built with. Maybe they should go to Liverpool and First can order some 377/2s and put them in the same livery as the new HST.
To Liverpool?!?!, you've gone mad, FCC didn't want 377/2 , hopefully they will find a solution , ordering new DMUs to replace the 317s and put them on the Thameslink Route and run the services to Moorgate ,
[EDIT]

Don't you think pantos are hellfire?
I know I used to say hellfire for Pantos, but I could say Rateable or whatever that word was Yorkie told me days ago

Nope, I'm not mad! I think 377s are much more pleasant than 319s. First aren't gonna invest anything in the Moorgate branch when it's going to be closed to make way for a long platform at Farringdon, plus the frequent adjacent tube service. Why would FCC need DMUs?!?! None of the routes FCC run over are un-electrified, hence the use of 317s, 319s and 365s.

508s aren't gonna last forever in Liverpool, they're not much older than slammers and their services could be extended by the dual power capabilities of 319s, although I've heard whispers of Electrostars being introduced there.
Ask FCC , why they thought of ordering DMUs and put 365s on TL route since 365s are not compatible with the Tunnels (IIRC)
Call frequent tube service when it's closed sometimes at Weekend
Long platform at Farringdon- if it extended to 12 car surely they must do something with the Tunnels to allow 12car operation which would solve the problems

IIRC 377/2s were trialed on the MML to Bedford but weren't successful.

Ah, but do you have an official statement from FCC saying that? DMUs don't go through tunnels where passengers go... Of course 365s cannot go through the tunnels - they had their shoes removed ages ago! They can't have a long platform and continue the service to Moorgate! Hence why they're binning the service! Increased capacity makes them more money!
and alternatively thinking on the London Bridge Congestion,
Looking over the past Sundays, There have been recorded 5 people using the Service to and from Moorgate
They could use the Extra 319s from the Moorgate services to extend some of the City Flier/Metro services down to Blackfriars

Your the one posting the gen and diagrams about them and emailing FCC about 319's, and i've been on plenty of those units which have many flaws and plenty of damage.

That's a shame :(. Must be a power thing as they go from Cricklewood to Derby behind yingers every three weeks.
Coxster meant on their own, not behind Skipful Skips

How long is 9214 at Selhurst for?
Is it ever going to work again?
John A said:
Hi

Of course it will
There is usually a spare 8.319 at Selhurst
each day at present, but the diagrams increase
by two with the timetable change so all will be
in use again each day from then.
The 'spare' ones are regularly rotated to keep
all serviceable.

Of course a 455 is a MoNsTeRs!! ;)
Especially speeding through Wandsworth Common, I like that :) racing against an Electrostar! on the 08:52 Caterbox (caterham) and 08:59 Boxbridge (London Bridge)

I was pleased to see a 455 on the 12:39 Horsbox express (Horsham)

Let see what will happen today, and hopefully do FC on the 319/2 versions!

Give me a 319 anytime but i wouldnt mind if 377s ran along side 319s on Thameslink, it would be quite intresting. I like the 377 noise when it comes into the sation and when it leaves. Though 319s make the best sounds of all!! cant beat them sounds! an the panto has fins in th joint making it uber cool;) although so do 360s lol.

All the 319s ive been on have been very good, nice interiors, no ripped seats and no missing seats.

Also 377s are very nice, i prefer taking a 377 to harrow than a 321 ;)

Yes but surely the sounds of the 319 panto is far better than a 37!

Who would want to travel on them. Southern might aswell cancel the service!
