Just spotted 448 around Ilford London-bound behind a 47 and two Arlington translators. Any ideas where it's being taken and what for?

Edit: seen from rtt it's off to old Dalby, that just leaves the what for? :)

It's the Eversholt/Greater Anglia 'Demonstrator' unit, perhaps for further testing of the replacement AC traction package?

Not actually sure whether the Vossloh package has been installed yet, or whether the fitment is yet to take place

Oh has it finally received a new traction package? Wasn't it meant to be done as part of the original refurb?

Not sure if the traction pack has been fitted yet. I know an AGA Instructor was due to be sent up to the test track to give a very detailed traction course to the guys working on it.

321448 is at Melton RIDC (note the new name!) initially for testing and data acquisition pre modification.

It will then be fitted with the AC traction package and further testing will take place at Melton.
